DAARSTOC is an organization that strives to uphold and values the following:
- Commitment – Members are expected to be fully committed to DAARSTOC, to learning, and to each other.
- Honesty and Integrity• - Members are expected to act with integrity. In the initiation ceremony for new members there is a point where it is stated that DAARSTOC will demand that members use what they learn in the group as a force for good. It is understood that ultimately that decision is theirs and theirs alone. But the purpose of teaching these skills is to help people function better and more harmoniously in the world. If that happens the world will be a better place.
- Professional – Members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner in all professional settings.
- Innovation and Initiative – Members are expected to be self starters that can develop new ways of accomplishing tasks.
- Mutual Respect – Members are expected to take a constructive view of themselves and situations. as they go through life. Most problems have a solution, the key is to find it.
- Positive Outlook – Members are expected to take a constructive view on all situations.
